My Spring to Summer Wishlist

It’s May Bank Holiday and, although slightly grey today, spring is in full bloom and will soon be giving way to the long warm days of summer. Whilst sat here on Bank Holiday Monday morning, snuggled in my dressing gown with a cup of early grey in hand, I thought I would share with you what’s on my spring into summer wish list for this year. I hope you will find some inspiration in this little series!

Calzedonia Swimsuit

I have been looking for the perfect elegant swimsuit for a long time and I saw this on Lydia Millen’s feed during her recent holiday to the Maldives (maybe I should add that to my spring/summer wishlist!) and I love how effortless it looks. I had no idea Calzedonia did swimwear so I am so happy to have discovered their range, there are a couple of things I have my eye on!

Adanola Leggings & Tank Bra

There’s still a little chill in the air in the early mornings and evenings, so longline sportswear is still top of my agenda and I wear these black Adanola leggings so often that I really need a second pair! I am also really keen to get my hands on the matching black tank bra as I have it in almost every other colour! A classic black outfit never goes amiss in any season.

H&M Linen Shirt

Ooh a classic linen shirt. H&M is one of my favourite high street stores and I am keen to get their take on a classic linen shirt into my spring/summer wardrobe. Karen Millen Blue Linen Trousers

Who doesn’t love a comfy wide-leg trouser? I have never invested enough in trousers, being of a shorter disposition, so I think this year is my year to find some legwear I really love. I am always getting chilly, even in the summer months, so something elegant and comfy to cover up my legs sounds like the perfect solution while still looking effortlessly dressed for spring.

Lauren by Ralph Lauren Tan Belt

Lauren is a collection within Ralph Lauren that I recently discovered via the lovely Lauren McDermott who always looks wonderfully stylish. This belt is the perfect shade of tan, I have been waiting to purchase a quality tan belt for a long time and this is certainly the season to get my hands on it. Being petite I prefer smaller, understated belts to anything large or chunky, so this will go perfectly with any spring dress that needs a little bit of cinch.

Fable Tote Bag

Continuing on the tan theme, Fable was a brand that recently caught my eye on Instagram and their timeless British pieces just made me swoon. I recently purchased this silk scarf from them and I now have my eye on the perfect mini tan basket tote to pair with all of my spring outfits. I am a fan of a tiny bag and this one has the most stunning silk lining so I cannot wait to wear it with everything from white shorts to spring dresses.

Holland Cooper Slides

These stunning Holland Cooper tan slides have been on my wishlist since last summer, but I think this year is the time to take the plunge. I love Jade Holland Cooper and her entire brand, she is an iconic businesswoman and has the most impeccable English country style. I recently visited the Holland Cooper flagship store in The Cotswolds and I was obsessed. So these will certainly be making their way into my wardrobe this season.
